RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN
EXCEPT FOR THESE ONES

Zhappy is a wonderful community filled with awesome people and for the sake of our users we want to keep it that way. To do this, we ask that all our users, Task Posters and Zhappers alike, abide by a few simple guidelines to help keep Zhappy a safe, reliable, and fun place to get connected and help each other out.

RULES FOR TASK POSTERS

Zhappy wouldn’t be the safe, successful, and secure community it is without our Task Posters. We value your contributions, and we thank you for choosing to be part of our community. To help Zhappy continue to provide quality Zhappers and better serve you, we ask that you respect the following rules:

Make sure you’re the age of majority

You must be 18 years or older to be a Zhappy user. Don’t blame us – the law says you need to be a minimum of 18 years old to enter a legal contract. Here at Zhappy, we reserve the right to request proof of any user’s age.

Keep your tasks within the task posting guidelines

Tasks must be legal. Prohibited services include, but are not limited to, any adult or escort services.
Dangerous tasks are also prohibited.
In order to be fair to Zhappers that may apply to your task, each task posting needs to have a clear description that includes all the relevant task details, the estimated working hours (if applicable), and any additional information that is necessary for the prospective Zhapper to complete the task.

Obvious as it may seem, task postings should be about tasks. We don’t endorse you using our community’s space to advertise any other subjects/matters.

Treat others how you want to be treated

Discrimination or harassment, trolling and spamming, or Illegal activities will not be tolerated. The use of obscene and inappropriate language and imagery will result in the immediate removal of a user’s postings and possibly the suspension or deletion of a user’s account. We hate to be harsh, but we hate bad behaviour even more.

Don’t try to cheat the system

Refrain from posting fraudulent reviews or taking any other prohibited steps to boost a Zhappy profile – whether yours or anyone else’s. Don’t use Zhappy for lead generation or to harvest member information.

Keep private information private

Private contact information is only allowed to be shared once a task application has been accepted by a task poster.

Private contact information must only be discussed in the private messages. Do not share private contact information in any public area on the app or website.

Private contact information can include your physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, personal websites, business websites, and social media accounts.

This policy exists to protect the safety and privacy of our users – making sure you share only with someone you’d trust enough to hire or work for means your sensitive information will only be in the hands of people you trust!

Only allow your hired worker to work

When you accept a Zhapper’s application to complete your task, it must be that person that completes it. Even helpers brought by your hired worker are not permitted.

Anyone other than the hired Zhapper completing the task would be a subcontractor, and this is not permitted by Zhappy. Insurance coverage will not apply to these tasks, and you may find yourself liable for injury and other damages. If anybody other than the hired Zhapper shows up for completing the task, we ask you to report the incidence to our support team.

Pay fair and on time

Zhappy makes it easy to pay securely through the app using credit cards or PayPal. There is no limit to how many payments you can make through the app.

When you post your budget for a task, you are required to set a fair price for the service you request. The budget needs to cover the full service you request from a Zhapper. Advertising with teaser rates or rates that do not reflect a fair amount for the task advertised is a serious violation of our Community Guidelines.

We do allow cash payments, and if you are really strapped for cash, you could even use pay by “Other” which is our alternative, non-monetary payment method. For bartering, you may “Pay with an Item” you own or offer your Zhapper a “Service in Return”. Why, you ask?  Zhappy is a people-centric community platform seeking to bring individuals together for the better. We all have service needs and special skills, and we believe that money should not be the only way of requesting and receiving everyday services.

Posting tasks on Zhappy is completely free. You only pay the budget you choose for your task, with no additional fees. We think this is the only fair way to run things.

Be accountable with your account

Duplicate accounts are not permitted. To keep our community safe and reliable, each user’s account must accurately reflect the user’s attributes and skills. Duplicate accounts created to disguise a user’s history will be deleted.

To maintain the safety and reliability of the community, user account transfers are also not permitted. A user’s account is that user’s responsibility and he or she must remain in control of it.

RULES FOR ZHAPPERS WORKING

Trusted workers are the essence of Zhappy. Your hard work and reliability is what makes this a thriving, safe community filled with locals helping others. To help Zhappy continue to grow and provide you with opportunities to earn money on your own terms, we ask that you respect the following rules.

Make sure you’re the age of maturity

You must be 18 years or older to be a Zhappy user. Don’t blame us – the law says you need to be a minimum of 18 years old to enter a legal contract. Here at Zhappy, we reserve the right to request proof of any user’s age.

Do the work you’re hired to do

If your offer is accepted by a Task Poster, you must complete the task by yourself. You may not bring a assistant or send someone else to complete the task in your place, as tempting that may seem. Subcontracting is strictly prohibited and immediately voids any insurance coverage provided by Zhappy.

Recognize that cheaters never prosper

Don’t give fake reviews or take any fraudulent steps to  inflate your Zhappy profile.

Zhappy is also not to be used for lead generation or harvesting member information. Don’t do anything to your fellow Zhappers you wouldn’t do to a friend and neighbour!

Be stingy with your private information

Private contact information may only be shared once a work offer has been accepted.

Private contact information can include physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, personal websites, business websites, and  social media accounts. (Remember: no bank details or payment information!)

Do not share private contact information in any public area of the app or website. It can only be shared over private messages.

This policy exists to protect and preserve the safety and privacy of our users.

Get paid the right way

Once you’ve completed a task, you’re entitled to the pre-agreed-upon amount via the payment method that was set when applying for the task.

Bargaining in the community is not tolerated. If you’re not happy with the budget of a Task Poster, don’t apply for the task! There are plenty of alternative postings that you may find more suitable.

Even if a Task poster considers your service quality to be poor, this is not a valid reason for non-payment of your completed service. As a principle, your Task Poster is required to pay you despite potential dissatisfaction with the work you have done. However, please do bear in mind that you would likely receive a bad review, which may affect your chances of being hired for future work with other users. We therefore advise you to find a reasonable agreement with the Task Poster to avoid such bad reviews.

You are expected to cancel tasks that you did not or could not complete. There are no grounds to request payment from the Task Poster in such cases.

Cancelling tasks results in a higher cancellation rate which is visible to other users on your profile.

Always make sure you deliver great service in order to maintain a healthy profile in the Zhappy community. Do not apply for tasks that require expertise that you do not possess.

Limit yourself to one account

We appreciate enthusiasm, but each user should only have one account. To keep our community safe and reliable, each user’s account must accurately reflect that user’s reputation. Duplicate accounts created to disguise a user’s history will be deleted.

To maintain the safety and reliability of the community, account transfers are also not permitted. A user’s account is that user’s responsibility and he or she must remain in control of it.

The Zhappy community relies on decent and respectful discourse, and failing to abide by these guidelines will result in the removal of a user’s postings and possibly the suspension or deletion of a user’s account.

Zhappy values its Community Guidelines, and we hope you will too, so we can continue to empower people with everyday services, anytime, anywhere
