Zhappy is a community platform where Task Posters can hire trusted Zhappers to complete tasks, or where you can earn some money as a Zhapper by completing tasks.
A Task Poster is someone that outsources tasks to others on our platform. To do this, a user must ensure that they have selected Task Poster mode.
A Zhapper is a trusted worker of our community that completes the tasks that have been posted by Task Posters on the app. To work as a Zhapper the user must have selected Zhapper mode.
Users on the app can switch between both modes at any time depending on their individual needs and circumstances.
The range of Zhappers on our platform is impressive, giving the Task Posters the freedom of choice. We have professional Zhappers that work full-time for larger corporations, small business owners, and many skilled, self-employed individuals that have just the right set of skills to help others by completing their tasks. Ultimately, the mission of any Zhapper is to get your task done, anytime, anywhere.
A task is a definite piece of work for completion.
Tasks on Zhappy mainly involve daily chores and home services such as cleaning, moving help, general handyman services, gardening, and pet sitting. A task can also encompass more general everyday service needs, such event planning, photography, private tutoring, and web services. You can find someone for pretty much any type of task on Zhappy.
The app is absolutely free to download on the iPhone App and Google Play store.
To ensure you have a (Z)happy experience, we’ve included features that exist solely to provide you with the trust and protection you need. We provide secure payment methods and employ a range of verification checks on users, to maximise transparency on the app. In- app detectives observe our community to ensure all is well, and we also have a dedicated customer support team ready to assist you with anything at any time.
Here at Zhappy our Cancellation Rate feature is in place to give users the ability to check how often users they interact with have cancelled tasks that were assigned (”Current” Tasks). The Cancellation Rate expresses the percentage of cancelled tasks to completed tasks.
Cancellation Rates should encourage users to complete all tasks once they are assigned. A high cancellation rate on a Zhappy profile signals problems to others when interacting in the community.
Zhappy is covered with up to £5 million in Public Liability Insurance from Lloyds. This insurance covers most common workplace issues such as major accidents and personal injury.
For further information, check our insurance policy.
Zhappy is an inclusive space for any and everyone, so it’s important to us that you feel safe. If someone is behaving inappropriately, we want to know immediately. Once you’ve posted your task, Zhappers who are interested and have the skillset to complete the task can submit an application. Alternatively, you can also invite Zhappers to complete you task by selecting their profile on the map or on the list view.
Before you invite or accept a Zhapper, why not check out their profile, read their ratings and reviews, and ask them questions about their skills in the comment section? Once you have hired a Zhapper you can communicate with them and discuss further information through our “Private” messages and Zhappy call feature.
No, you’re under no obligation to hire a Zhapper. However, to encourage a fair and active community platform, we ask that you do not accept an application unless you intend to follow through with the payment and completion of the task.
Editing a task on the app can be done any time before a task has been assigned to a Zhapper (not in “Current” tasks). You can edit the budget, date of task, and task description.
You can also delete a task if it has not been assigned to a specific Zhapper yet. (not in “Current”). To delete a task, go to My Tasks on the Side Menu and select “Posted”. Click the task and select “Delete Task”. Once you have confirmed deletion, the task will be deleted.

To cancel a task, go to My Tasks on the Side Menu and select “Current”. Click the task and select “Cancel Task”. Once you have selected the reason for your cancellation, you will receive confirmation of cancellation and your Cancellation Rate will automatically increase.
Zhappy has implemented vigorous protocols to help make your experience on the app safe and secure. However, when engaging as a Task Poster, we advise you to view and read the ratings and reviews left on Zhappers profiles by fellow Task Posters. You’ll also want to take a look at the verification checks on the Zhapper’s profile. Has he or she submitted a phone number, or verified social media accounts? These steps should help give you a better understanding of who you’re hiring.
Please note: We also suggest that you try and meet in a public place before letting a Zhapper into your home (if this is a task that needs to be carried out on your property, we suggest a coffee shop or somewhere outside your house for the first meeting).
You can pay your Zhapper easily and securely through the app using your credit and debit card or PayPal account. You may only pay in cash if this method of payment was selected when posting the task. We do offer an alternative payment method known as “other” on the app. With this option, you can pay for a task with an item or offer service in return. However, for security reasons, we have this is only available once a month.

Using the private message feature, you simply exchange information with the Task Poster so you get all the details of your task worked out, including addresses and schedules. Show up at the agreed time and get the job done! Once the task has been completed your Task Poster will release the payment.
When the task is completed, the Task Poster will pay you securely and instantly via the pre-selected payment method. Most commonly, payments are made by credit/debit card or PayPal. Electronic payments aren’t just safe and hassle-free, but also the only way we can provide our Zhappers with insurance coverage. For this reason, we do not recommend paying in cash or using alternative payment methods.
As a Zhapper you can cancel a task, although we do advise you to attempt to reschedule with the Task Poster to avoid negative impacts on your cancellation rate.
